Nova Foundation has actively participated in various fora for the PWD Sector either as a Resource Person, Contributor to policy advocacy formulation and/or as Exhibitor

As part of our advocacy, we create awareness of our Mission among potential future leaders of our country and our society.  Thus, we have opened our doors to students who are interested in the concerns of the PWD Sector. Through our Student Immersion Program, we provide them in-depth exposure to our endeavors.

We have provided such meaningful experience to more than 20 students from seven schools

In Government, we engaged in assisting government institutions put flesh to and operationalize the provisions of the various legislation aimed at establishing disabled-friend environment. In the process, we are also assisting Government fulfill its obligations to UNCRPD. Our achievements include:

• Enabling the DOH operationalize its Online Registry for PWDs where NOVA Foundation obtained funding from Christoffel Blinden Mission for the development of the IT infrastructure and operationalization of the online system.

• Enabled the Department of National Defense to explore additional avenues in their efforts to re-integrate disabled soldiers

• Provided input on the needs of disabled persons in relation to B.P. 344 Accessibility Law of the Philippines.
